We have recently undertook a significant restoration project on a Grade A listed Gothic style church just outside of Glasgow, employing traditional and innovative methods to ensure the preservation and longevity of this historic building.

The project included various vital restoration and repair tasks including major repointing works, timber louvre replacement, lightning protection installation, and stone masonry repairs.

Difficult Access Specialists

Given the church’s architectural complexity and height, traditional scaffolding was impractical. Instead, we utilised steeplejack ladders and industrial rope access services to access the ‘at height’ points of the historic building which needed restoration work. Steeplejack ladders and rope access services allow our roofing and building maintenance team safe and efficient access to the elevated and intricate areas of the church, minimising the impact on the surrounding environment and the church’s structure.
